Better Than Ever!

It's been a while since I posted. On my last blog entry, I told you guys that I found out I was pregnant. Well, I'm rocking my 6 week old baby boy as I write this. :)
The pregnancy was fine. Because of some very tight permanent sutures, my tummy didn't get as big as what is considered normal for a pregnant woman. The last couple of months I was miserable and felt like I couldn't breathe. I delivered a healthy baby boy on May 8. Within 10 days, my stomach was almost completely flat again. I actually like my stomach better now than before my son. It's not sooo super tight. It's a nice, firm, natural-looking, flat tummy. Yes, it has some stretch marks, but I'm ok with that. I will say that since my TT, keeping the weight off my hips and thighs has been challenging, but the TT has made me so much more self-confident. Would I do it again? Yes! Was it worth it? Yes!

If you have any questions, please post in the comments and I'll be glad to answer. :)

  1. Congratulations on your adorable baby! It's good that your tummy tuck didn't cause problems during your pregnancy, aside from the slight discomfort on the latter end. I hope the rest of the effects that you've felt have gone away now, and that you can work out again after a few weeks of rest. That being said, it's great that you're satisfied with the procedure! Take care!

  5. Getting a Tummy tuck procedure is no joke or a frivolous deal as it requires cutting open an important part of your body to remove the excess fat from that particular area. Therefore, it is crucial that before deciding to get this surgery done, be well aware of what all harms you could be subjected to.

  6. Getting a tummy tuck is an effective way to flatten one’s abdomen. But in my opinion, getting back the confidence that one has lost due to weight gain is the most important benefit of this procedure. And it’s good to know that even after a few years and having a baby, you’re still happy with the result. Enjoy!

  8. Oh gosh! Thank you so much for sharing this. Ever since I started working on losing weight, I've been considering the eventuality of how my body will look once I reach goal. I know there's going to be a LOT of extra skin (there already is, and I still have a ways to go). I still haven't decided, but being able to look at other people's experiences is very helpful. I look forward to reading the rest once you're ready to share. I hope you're recovering well.

  10. Thanks for sharing this very personal tummy tuck experience. There is a fair amount of confusion about the process of "muscle tightening" during the tummy tuck procedure. The key to understanding this process is understanding the anatomy of the abdominal wall.

  12. So, you can make consistent exercise and proper diet in your routine. But what about the tummy fat that ruins your complete look. It may be hard to reduce your belly fat and turn your body in attractive shape.
